Of course after spending two days at the Santa Fe Bead Show last weekend I had to start beading. How about a kalidecycle? First get out the new beads and let's decide on colors. Looking looking looking. Of course decided on beads from Fusion Beads I ordered a month ago instead of new beads from the Santa Fe Bead show. Next, bead 4 patterns with 6 triangles of each pattern. Here in progress and finally all triangles finished. Now waiting for Wednesday class to learn how to put them together so they move like a kalidecycle. I'll post that one. too.
Some of the beads from the Bead Show in Santa Fe. Triangles are #10 delicas from Fusion Beads I ordered a month ago. Three patterns of 6 each triangles. One more pattern of 6 triangles to make.
The "pick up" silver triangle on the left by the scissors will give you beaders an idea of the size of the triangles.
All triangles complete. I put a few #11 delica triangles to the left to give you an idea how small the kaleidoscope would be if I used #11 delicas. And #10's so much easier on the eye. TAnd the beading above this is a beaded feather in progress. All of my projects are either "in progress" or UFO's (unfinished objects).
